    Aside from optimising this site a little before release (as well as redesigning the home page with a seies of flash widgets) i have been having an asian movie marathon.
    I recently got a new Media drive enclosure that has the ability to render .srt and .sub subtitle files. What better way to test it out than to watch 10 subtitled movies?

    I watched chungking express and both death note movies again as well as the following i had never before seen.

    • My Mighty Princess
    • Whispering Corridors 1-4
    • Death Bell
    • My Wife is a Gangster 3 (I much prefered the first two tbh)
    • Sweet Rain
    • Neighbor 13

    I was most impressed with my mighty princess and sweet rain. As much as i like a good horror film (especially this close to halloween), I have to say those two stood out. Princess for its unique take on chinese martial arts movies and Sweet Rain for its use of characters and the way they influence each others lives (seing takeshi kaneshiro is such a role is odd too).

    The only thing that i disliked about My Mighty Princess was the soundtrack. I am not a fan of C-Rap.
    
    If you havn't seen either movie I suggest you watch them. :)
