It would indeed suck majorly if I had to sell my own dvds on the street, but there are quite a few factors involved in that. I as an american think of like... Angelina Jolie trying to sell her own stuff and no one being interested. That screams apocalypse. But that in turn would be like Riyu Kosaka selling her own cds. If life comes to that, shoot me. But lets look on the bright side: one of several possibilities are reflected through this:

1. Japanese people are watching less porn.

2. Japanese people are getting more action.

3. Japanese people can't find time for porn.

(Other reasons may exist.)

Sadly, I doubt this is limited to carnal movies. The majority of Japanese movies I've seen suck some pretty major ass. I've seen my share of ok ones, and a few good ones, but the majority have been low in quality compared to the american movie industry. I've never been to Japan, however, so I'm just hoping that all the good stuff stays in Japan. But based on what I've seen here, Japanese people should stick to making kickass music, anime, and manga. If you told me there were manga artists all over Japan selling on the streets, I'd probably kill someone.

If I might remind you... shes an actress. Its a conspiracy. If she sells em herself, she keeps all the profit. And how better to sell than to flash some panties and beg people to look at it?

And if you don't mind, I'd like to point something else out. How many women do you see in the background? And uhh... the guy on the left in the left pic... he looks mighty interested to me.
